Nice Dan, I like the look of that pivot. Thats a beast of a folder.

Thanks! They are sort of tricky to install as a maker but the large size adds stability... plus the matching screws are Titanium! Large T10 torx size too. I really like the final result.

Love to see some simple milling on the non-lock side with ano'd job inside the milling for longer uh longevity

Anytime I show my work to non-knife people I get comments like that... lmao yes I'm gonna leave it blocky too! That's why I like to keep this stuff to us knife guys!

Seriously though I'm just debating smooth, jimped or floating. Probably smooth, this CF looks so cool...

That's the Ti pivot I told you about... this is the larger version. I have seen the smaller one around but not these. I think I'm going to get my own design custom made eventually.

Milling - I have a few things lined up... on some I mill out the frame inside to lighten it. I might have to bust out some ano'd grooves soon. I've been practicing!

I'm going to do some embellishments by hand too, I just need to replace my Foredom's speed controller, it did not like having a 10# block of aluminum dropped on it! I have some other stuff planned too, some I have never seen so it's a secret until then!

I'm also going to finally buy a bandsaw so I'm not using the hacksaw or chop saw (only works on short pieces) so much... I hope to have a stock of high end materials on hand... also get a surface grinder and better mill so I can easily prep/parallel out my materials for flexibility when building folders.

lol it's 5 am and I want to go grind! maybe more coffee first... this folder is calling!
