I'm still drinking coffee here! I had a busy weekend on the shop and here at home.

What are you guys up to? Have a good week!

This week will be Damascus Dashi week! I'm trying for a goal each week and this week it is 9 Damascus Kiridashis. :D

Well... I'll just head out to the post office and pick up my Titanium katana from William Nease. :D

Ohhh... THE Katana! Tikat :D have fun!

It was snowing here too, it's too warm here for it to really stick but it has been stormy weather.

When I get the camera I'll film my road for you guys, lol it is nuts! I could take a small boat down it right now! The entrance to the canyon I live in is melted off but back here on the mountain it is snowy as can be still and the creek is raging.
 
Well, Mondays are always a busy one for me at work, lots of big orders to place, the cashiers have short shifts, and I have limited coverage on the sales floor.

Just dropped the boy off at day care and the wife is at work, so I get a few hours to myself.

Still recovering from my experimental eye procedure, so I'm stuck around the house. At least, I'm expecting two knives today so that doesn't suck. :). Another WT (CF T-Rex) and a hammered silver SAK, which will be my TSA approved carry-onboard, at least until DFK can come up with something. ;)
 
I missed you guys yesterday, my net is barely working! I might get the phone co out here, it happens every year at this time but usually only for an hour here and there.

I live on one of the worst roads around, it is just nuts! We go off-roading and remark how the roads were smoother. :D

We're in an unincorporated area so the road maintenance is up to us... I'm almost three miles off the main road so at times it gets interesting.

Both knives sound awesome! Pics when you get 'em and feel better! I am a big fan of both styles...
 
Thanks, guys, it's all good. Between the corneal transplant in the left eye last year and the experimental CCL in the right last week, I'm on track to having the best vision since HS. And that was a LONG time ago. lol

As far as the knives, one is coming via usps and the other ups. BOTH are behind scheduled delivery. Maybe today. I'll put up pics when I get them and of the Les Voorhies fixed blade that's due any time now.
 
The WT showed up, finally. This is a big knife with lots of CF.

Seriously...that is one *REDACTED* of a knife.
 
Thanks, Bako, I am fortunate. Daniel made a laminated knife a while back and I hope he revisits the idea at some point. I am a sucker for textures, patterns and vivid colors. Probably related to the vision thing.
 
I hear you there.

I ride what some people think is a gaudy track bike- gloss black frame with safety orange wheels and components. People call it the Flyers bike, or Pumpkin bike. But it's tame compared to some of the stuff I see people riding.

I don't know much about WT knives other than he supposedly brought the carbidizing process to knife making, and his stuff is really nice to look at. I like heavy duty hardware, and those anodized chain ring bolts WT uses really do it for me. I wish there were a way I could use them as fasteners in my kydex stuff just for the super industrial look, but they don't come in a short enough post size and the huge inside diameter would mean having to find new hardware for affixing belt loops through the opening.
 
Daniel must not have been kidding in his first post in this thread. We've barely heard from him since.
