Today is one of the major Chinese holidays.

If you've got clear skys, take the chance to glance up at the moon tonight, and remember those you love who may be far away.

You're all under the same moon.

Here in Tucson the weather is perfect and the moon is full. Just walked the dog about 8PM and no need for any extra light. Looks like Tai Goo weather to me.

Did Red Flower make Mooncakes to celebrate Moon Festival?

I had my moon cake yesterday. Definitely time to celebrate. Best wishes to the Cantanistas under the moon.

Happy Moon.

I shy away from religious observance regarding cellestial bodies, but admit the moon has been a meaningfull object in my life. But you gotta be careful. They didn't call those guys, "moonies" for nothing.

Ahhh Munk but the moon causes the tides of the sea to move & we are c.98% water as well.

Thankyou Howard.

When I worked the psych ward we expected more incoming on a full moon. So did the local ER. You'll find that across the US. But I'm not sure the stats bear it out.

Those mooncakes do look good. I'd eat one. Or two.

Overindulgence at breakfast is not as bad for your health than treats devoured at a later time. We get away with it. We've time to burn off the calories. Man, I want those mooncakes.

I've watched the waxing and waning of the moon for years. I don't know why but when I see the full moon in the sky it gives me a thrill. I can see why early humans worshiped it. I once climbed the hill that divides Blair Valley from Little Blair by the light of the full moon out in the Anza-Borrego desert. I also have a hard time sleeping when the moon is full. Guess that makes me a literal lunatic. Happy Moon Festival.
