Every knifeknut, at some point during their addiction, needs to own a Henckels stockman. Well, I guess it would be a Boker stockman now, but I digress. To celebrate my upcoming 2000th post and the New Year, I'm giving away one of these stainless steel standards. Brown jigged bone. Needs some sharpening, but otherwise pretty darn nice. Not going to get a chance to post photos though. I'd prefer to give it away to someone who hasn't owned one of these (honor system, please), but this is open to all traditional regulars (subjective interpretation on my part). Your post number is your entry. I'll pick a random number on New Year's Day (if I'm capable of conscious thought at the time). Please post some random knife photos to make up for the lack of photos in this post. Good luck!

The Stockman is my favorite pattern, but I have never owned a Boker/Henkels in this pattern.

The stockman is my favorite pattern also but I've never owned a Henckels/Boker of any pattern.

Although I've posted a picture of this knife previously, here is my favorite stockman, a medium Hen & Rooster in stag.

Thanks for the opportunity. I'm in. I have a couple of Schrade uncle Henry stockmans. The top one is a Schrade Walden, the bottom is a regular USA. I got them both at a flea market on the same day in different booths, for 10 bucks. The USA is in great shape, has been carried and sharpened. The Walden's sheep foot blade has been sharpened a lot with some blade loss, and the other blades have all been sharpened but look good. The scales on both are in great shape. Overall both knives are pretty nice for 10 bucks a piece.
