I decided to take a few days before starting next years orders and make myself a new "Beater" to keep in my pocket daily. It is my "Tuxedo Tactical" model.
Blade: 3" tip of blade to front of bolsters, D2 @ 61 Rc, Hand rubbed satin finish, Hollow ground from .100 stock, ground swedge, Thumb stud has bone inlay
OAL open: 7"
Closed length: 4"
Frame: .052 Titanium, filed all the way around with v's and circles, anodized light steel blue
Scales: Dyed and Fluted Bovine bone with black liners
Bolsters: 1/8" titanium, sandblasted and scratched on with Wilkes' scratcher tool
SS hardware throughout
Thanks for looking and hope everyone has a wonderful New Year
This is the one I am retiring. It has an A2 blade, titanium frame and walrus jawbone scales. It has been used daily for seven years. It is time to put it in the knife case and let the two grandsons argue over it. There is no doubt that the walrus bone is some pretty good stuff. It has held up well.
