Buckaholic, are you going to post pictures of the 120 in action against the bird?

Thanksgiving Dinner = Pizza, Reeses PB Cups, Snickers, and a couple Ice Cream Sandwiches...;)

...Just another day here...

Thanksgiving Dinner = Turkey, greasy gravy, watery mashed potatoes, burnt rolls and a trip to the ER  from the severe stomach pains that followed the dinner...Went to a "friend's"...... house this year for dinner...

...NEVER AGAIN! ! ! !...:barf:...:p

Sorry to hear that Trax & DocD,

Dinner was sure sweet here. Turkey = 26lbs (2X) nice juicy rotisserie cooked birds; it was perfect because I cooked it myself;), Cranberry sauce, mashed red garlic spuds with lots of butter & gravey, Stuffing, Yams, cut Italin green beans, rolls, Tossed green salaid. That was just the main course...you should have got a look at at all the snack stuff & the deserts.....man I'm done stick a fork in me.

Now the best part was all 5 of my kids were here with their wives/husbands and all the grand kids....Wow what a good time. Can't wait till Xmas day to do it all again...LOL.

Just a little advice to all of you Buck nuts out there...spend some time with your family...even if it can only be via phone. This is the first Thanksgiving without my Mom & Dad. Thought about them alot and I saw their faces in my kids actions and expressions. At least Mom & Dad were together looking down on us all.

I hope each of you had a wonderful Turkey Day!!!

Turkey day was great around this homestead. Had our son Rob, and two couples from our church that didn't have any where to go. One older couple, he's 88 and was a radio operator on a B-25 during WWII. Between me and him we had everyone rolling their pant legs up! The BS was flyin'!! Had all the usual trappings, turkey done up in our smoker outside, masterfully carved, by me, with my pre 86 120. Green chili for the mashed potatos and gravy for the dressing--it's a southwestern thing and out of this world. Enough left overs to last a couple of days and pecan pie for breakfast. I'm fat and happy.

Hope you all had a good day, too. I really do, seriously, hope you all had a wonderful day. Thanks for being my Buck Brothers............

DANG!!! I forgot to take my 120 to my kin's hovel (and my camera...so it's a pic from my cell). So, I only had by 110NS BG-42 G-10 and I didn't want guts caught up in that. Well, I would've probably used the 110 or the ColdSteel Ti-Lite I also had on me, but I was curious to whip out my Smidgen of a tool.

As it turned out, I didn't see any knives out on the counter so I whipped out the Smidgen to cut my plated portion. Cut through the bird and into the Dixie plate with no problems.
I may have to admit that I'm becoming a fan of midget ladies Jell-o wrestling after all.

This Sat I'm deep frying a turkey and pork loin for my keiki (kids) so I know my 120BR will be here. Maybe my 120 Pro-Line....but it won't be the Smidgen to cut the bird up.

Hint From Heloise: DO NOT brine a turkey over night if you plan on deep frying it.

The end of Thanksgiving and the turkey.
Hope everyone enjoyed.

Just pop the turk right out of the freezer into the deep fat fryer. Don't be afraid to get the fat boiling first...

...And have 6 or 8 shots of Jack's beforehand... :D

I love turkey sandwiches (on Italian bread, with lots of butter & salt...one year, my buddy's wife slipped in a slice of lettuce, too...num yummy!!!) :p

I'll be having Chinese for Xmas...Schlimp flied lice!!!:thumbup:
