I hope everyone has a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving - my favorite Holiday.
The unifying Holiday of our Society.... crosses cultural, religious, social and physical lines.
We travel to reunite with Family and Friends to laugh and eat and remember those we have loved and remember.
Many of us will see old friends or Family members that likewise have sacrificed to travel long distances to share a meal and give thanks for the many blessings that sometimes are forgotten throughout the busy year.
This is a time to slow down and just - be with, in the moment ....the people who help make us who we are.
So, I will travel (Hinderer in pocket) with my Wife and Kids to my Sister's Home (a recent Cancer survivor) where ALL my siblings and their "kids" mine being the youngest at 16,17,19 and 21. What a Great time seeing all the young ones swap stories about College and Sports and old stories about "Us" the older parents and how they viewed us when they were running around weaving plots that we wouldn't notice or so they thought - Fun.
I will remember my Mom and Dad long gone Home and hope I make it through Grace with a dry eye.
F.O. - God Bless this Holiday Season and Bless all who have gone through loss or tribulation this year.
Remember the good times and give Thanks for all that you have together.
Happy Thanksgiving.
