Rather than roasting our own turkey for its funeral tonight, we ordered a whole smoked 20-lb turkey from a fantastic local smokehouse.

Following good Chinese-American “tradition”, we will break down the bird and make turkey porridge tomorrow!!

I’m interested in hearing about some of your unique or interesting family/home traditions as well!
