Im a day early i know. Just getting some DOTD practice! If ya dont celebrate thanksgiving then Happy end of November! What are you cutting your turkey with this year? Err...do ya eat something else? Im having Shrimp wrapped with bacon and Jalapenos and Blue crab Gumbo! Guess I better get started makin a roux soon!

Thanks for lowering yourself to my level so I can understand. Pig on a stick, must be a pretty skookum stick.

I'm anxiously awaiting a lower heating element for the oven, was suppose to be here in 1 to 3 days, today is day 7.
We go to my sister house tomorrow for family get together. Usual turkey and sometimes a ham too. I usually treat my body like a temple but I see no harm in filling it up when the opportunity presents itself ya know?

Hope your lower heating element comes in! You shoulda had it sent to Reno first then to WA. You woulda had it 5 days ago.

Instead of a skookum stick ya khukri up the pig in small pieces. Poke some Jalapenos and shrimp on a bamboo SLO (skookem like object) then wrap it with bacon and cook it on the woodstove. Sizzlin smoky cholesterol balls! Mmmmm! Dont freeze your temple now but do have fun Bawanna. My grandkids and kids are comming over here. I hoping to have my kitchen counter done. Still have to connect all drain pipes to the sink before tomorrow. Guess I better do something.
 
dang that does sound good,me and my boy are ready for some turkey though..Happy Thanksgiving to all..

We'll do turkey today at my sisters and moms then tomorrow at my MIL's, so I'll be in a turkey coma all weekend...

I know I did. I been good last couple years, did just about right, over did today for sure.
 
I'm using the leftover turkey from three different birds to make Turkey Tetrazinni and also a big batch of Rusty's Hangover Soup to fight the chilly weather.
