After considerable searching (the difficulty was that I kept entering 'turkey' into the search word box, and 'Mike Turber' into the poster box; the search engine kept telling me that the search word and poster could not be the same!
), I finally found the infamous Mike Turber turkey call.
Here it is: www.bladeforums.com/images/mike-turkey.wav
Now, for those of you not intimately familiar with Mike Turber, fall down on your knees and give Thanks immediately. Er, ah, I mean, you should know that Mike and Spark and I would exchange turkey calls whenever on the phone (I haven't the foggiest notion how that started). It soon became apparent that Mike was the master of the gobble, and he posted it last Thanksgiving. Therefore, I think that we should all give thanks that Fearless Leader is such a great turkey (wait a minute....the Great Turkey??? It has possibilities!).
Seriously, I am thankful for a great many things, four wonderful children, four new six week old kittens, a terrific granddaughter, wonderful friends and neighbors. Further, I live in the best place in the USA, near the glamour and excitement of San Francisco, only a few hours away from the finest wine country in the USA, and also a few short hours from the redwoods, Big Sur, Point Reyes, the Pacific Ocean, whale watching...the list goes on.
Plus I have a number of wonderful friends I have made on the forum. Thanks to you all for all your kindness and thoughtfulness over the years.
My cup runneth over (damn!! spilled the wine again!!).
