Hi All,

Working night shift tonight. Wishing you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving Day. I get off work at 4AM and will go home set up the Turkey's for the rotisery and then get some sleep. My wife will start the birds and all the rest of the meal. Family will arrive at noon chow will hit the table at 1:00 (can't wait). Then back to work by 4PM for another night.

Good morning all, and Happy Thanksgiving to all my forum brothers and sisters and extended family. Blessed to be a part of such a great community, and have such a wonderful family here at home. Truly a day to give thanks. I hope everyone enjoys their special time today :):thumbsup::thumbsup:

I had one of those jobs where I was at the bottom of the seniority list for years, and I worked a lot of Thanksgivings and Christmases. You folks who work holidays, you're never far from my mind while I'm being lazy.
 
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Buck nuts and non Buck nuts as well.

Today will be a day starting off with my wife and children and ending with a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner at my Fathers house (about 7 miles away) with the rest of our family.

I am very fortunate to have such a great family and lucky to still have my soon to be 89 Father around who is in great health and able to still go hunting and fishing all over the US.

He lives to hunt and fish and just got back about a month ago from a elk hunting trip in Texas where he bagged a nice 6 point bull elk his first day out.

The only thing missing this Thanksgiving for me is my oldest son who lives aways away with his wonderful wife , a son and 2 daughters (my grandchildren). I wish so much that they were here. I miss them dearly.

I want you folks who fall in this category to know I have been there and recall you on holiday times. When you get to have your turkey, enjoy it and I am thankful for you. I have some serving who don't get these times off. I'm remembering you. DM
