I hope all of you fellow Fiddlebacks have a blessed Thanksgiving! (even those of you who aren't celebrating with us Americans!)

If you're traveling to be with family or friends, I wish you safe travels and returns. Enjoy some good fellowship and good food - hopefully cut with your favorite knife (the food, not the family and friends).

A special wish to those that can't be with their loved ones.

I have much to be thankful for!

Thanks and back at you brother! I am working on the first Thanksgiving dinner to be cooked in my own kitchen in several years. No danger of cutting on the family members as it will just be my wife, youngest daughter, and myself this year :)

Happy Thanksgiving Fiddlebacks!

Thurin, I would say we all have much to be thankful for, I know I am blessed well beyond what I deserve.

Mist, those "simple" Holidays are some of the best!

I'm spending Thanksgiving up in New York with the Family this year. Gonna be good to see my Dad and Sister and all the generations of family …

Wishing a Safe and Happy Holiday to all!

hope everyone has a happy & safe day!
we are going to my wifes family's house & im working on my dish now

I woke up this morning wondering how many people were going to use their Fiddlebacks to carve today! :p

Nice thread Thurin. Hope all of you Fiddlebacks and forum members have a great Thanksgiving.

I'm really thankful for Bladeforums. I've met and learned a lot from a lot of great people in this community. I've not only learned a great deal about blades and steels, I've learned quite a bit about myself and that's always a good thing.

So, thank you Bladeforums and Fiddlebacks.

thurin, Thank you for starting such a wonderful thread!

I'm Thankful for everyone here in Fiddleback Land. I look forward to reading your posts everyday. You all play an important and fun role in my life. I'm also Thankful for Andy and the crew and for the objets d'art they create. From a Bow Legged Joe to a Bow Legged Chopper or from a Runt to a Camp Knife we have all found our perfect blade(s) we use every day. You've created art that does not hang on the wall and get a glimpse here and there, you've put art in our hands, things we enjoy every day.

Here in southern Virginia, all is quiet, a nice sunny break from the intense wet and cold we've had. My Mother is at Disney with my Brother and his family. Dad and in-laws are coming over to have Turkey day with the three kids and us. I'm looking forward to the oyster dressing I'm sure Day will bring. I plan on doing turkey carving with my osage Woodsman. I hope to find another use at the table for a matching osage Fiddleback.

I hope everyone has a great Fiddleback Thanksgiving. Thanks again thurin for starting this!
