I have the smoked bird sitting out to get to room temp for serving, and getting ready to start the oil for the 22lb frying bird!

My kids and grandkids are coming over, and my sister and brother in law and their kids.

Should be a full house with lots of food for everyone.

It is my hope that everyone is enjoying some time with their loved ones on this day of thanks.

I hunted this morning and luckily no deer got in the way of a relaxing day in the woods. The family is starting to trickle into our home, I had a sip or two to take the edge off and will be the most gracious host. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving.
 
We just got a turkey breast for the two of us. Connie is leaving for work in a few minutes, so I'll do dishes then watch some TV.

Same here, but I wouldn't call it glorious.

Now where'd I put that dang Alka-Seltzer?
