My Pop has been smoking a 30 pounder overnight, can't freakin wait! :thumbup:

Any tips on how I can be drunk enough tomorrow morning to pull the trigger on the $1,000 Shop Credit, but sober enough to actually wake up? :confused:

Any help would be greatly appreciated lol. :very_drunk:

Simple, if you know you are going to spend $1k on shop knives this year, then it is an easy trigger to pull.
 
I was mainly joking. Actually pulled the short straw at work and have to go in on Friday, so I'll be up and (mostly) sober.

Don't plan to spend $1,000 on shop knives this year, but then again I didn't plan to in '15-'16 either and it worked out uhh, ...differently. Imagine I'll go for it. :D

I would encourage everyone to take this holiday to heart. Spend some time reflecting on everything we have to be thankful for. There's a lot of bad stuff out there in the world, but a lot of good also. Just gotta keep working to make it better, each of us in our own small way. The future is unwritten, and I remain optimistic.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I was tempted to try and carve with the WTF, but relented and used a nice Shun.

We did a 15.5 lb smoked turkey, and I deep fried a 22lb turkey with the Busse of the turkey fryer world, my King Cooker fryer.

Everything came out wonderful, had my kids and the grandkids, my brother and sister in law, and their kids.

Full house, lots of blessings today, and I wish the same for all of my Busse friends.

Happy Thanks Giving Hogs.
This year was my wifes turn to cook the Turkey for the 1st time for the Family, I bought a smoked turkey as a back up lol this is me with a leftover half afterwards. (I did bring CS WTF for the carving, but backed out of using it last minute) lol
