Happy Thanksgiving John. I’ll be home as well while my family heads off to celebrate thanks to some long term damage from chemo/immunotherapy, but the good news for both of us is that we’re still on the right side of the dirt to enjoy the holidays. Gotta make the most of what we’ve got!

I hope everyone had a great holiday. My two nieces had to work Thanksgiving Day, so we moved our dinner out to Saturday. The rest of the family still got together on Thursday. The plan was to have Thanksgiving-related food but not in the traditional sense. As usual when we get together, it turned into way too much unhealthy food, a few adult beverages, and lots and lots of laughter. Dinner on Saturday was also nice, but there was so much food that most adults were more interested in a nap than anything else afterwards.
One highlight of both gatherings was that neither one was at our home for a change
