I just wanted to take a minute to wish all of you folks a happy Thanksgiving. All the folks here sure do help a guy have something to give thanks for. The advice, comeraderie, and friendship here is something definitely worth giving thanks for.

Wait,......THANKSGIVING is TODAY !!!
No one told me anything about it.
Why am I always the last to find these things out.
When did they move it from.....when was it anyway?
Next thing you know somebody will be saying that Christmas is only a month away.

But I am sure glad I ain't cooking for YOU, too. I've already got 12 being served out of my kitchen today. I thought women were supposed to cook, why haven't I ever met one who could out do me in the kitchen?

My family has a lot to be thankful for this year- good harvests in our backyard truck garden, knifemaking finally more than a pipe dream. My wife's nursing school moving along with her running a 3.9 for the year (!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Both of our kids are healthy and happy. Damn, what a year to look back on.

Remember folks, don't eat so much you can't walk to the couch to watch the ball game!! Save some for leaved over sammiches!!!! :D

Happy Thanksgiving guys! I got a pretty decent turkey lunch at the hospital cafeteria for about 5 bucks. It ain't like home cooking though! How bout those Packers? ;D -Matt-
 
Old Brett had to worry for a few minutes there, didn't he, as The Lions staged their attempted comeback? LOL He's on a real roll, and we wish him the best for continued success this season.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! As we count our blessings, we are thankful. Life has it's bumps, but it is also good.
 
I almost had a dang heart attack when the Lions started closing the gap! It would be great if Brett could get them to the Super Bowl again ( if he does, I'd bet a dollar he retires) If not, the fans can still say it was a very enjoyable season. -Matt-
