Hi all,

I've had a particularly good year, for which I'm really thankful. Getting back on your feet after getting the crap knocked out of you can be a long, painful process. This time it has been long (still climbing out...), but it really hasn't been too painful. There is light at the end of the tunnel... and I'm pretty sure it isn't a train this time. My job is better than ever, with the prospects of going full-time next year, I'm back in school, and I've got a roof over my head, food in the fridge and a couple of computer goodies to play with... I even won a Patang sword in Ram's Raffle this year :D

It has been a good year! I hope the same applies to everyone here too.


Also, today is Walosi's birthday... so Happy Birthday Dad. You are missed and not forgotten.

And Happy birthday to my old friend Walosi. We called each other "lint heads", with affection, as we had both worked in the cotton mills in our younger days.

So glad things are looking up to you Alan! :thumbup:

Never thought I'd be thankful for forum software and a server, but it's amazing how much this place is part of my life, and how much I've learned. Thanks to all who have been part of that. Ain't going to start mentioning names. Hard-disk capacity and all, you know?

And Happy B'Day, Walosi. Here's to you. (coffee only, at the moment).

Even though our plans didn't work out, (Tim got sick last night, dehydrated,fever, tossing cookies, etc. but recovering better than past winters!:D maybe no trip to the hospital yet! No hunting license for the oldest boy, can't find birth certificate.:( ) we are still very blessed. New church, happier than ever at the job, making progress spending time with the kids, relationship with the wife going better and better, ( 20 years next July!) and our friends we had to cancel visiting even brought over some turkey!

This is a great place to be a part of on the net. I'm thankful for that too.
