Happy Veterans Day to all my fellow vets, and all of our active duty folks putting their asses on the line for us!

Yes! Thanks for help making this great country what it is!!

Too all you Vets and active military!! :)

Happy Veterans Day!! Thank you to all the brave men and women out there who have or are currently serving. You are true heroes!

My deepest appreciation for those who have served ! And to the members and families of our Armed Forces that are currently serving Thank You!

Thanks men and woman,

We, too, born to freedom, and believing in freedom, are willing to fight to maintain freedom. We, and all others who believe as deeply as we do, would rather die on our feet than live on our knees.

Happy Veteran's Day gents & LW!

Raise a glass to those currently downrange...stay safe, come home soon.

Here's to all our Serviceman and Women making a safe return home. All gave some, some gave all, For the ones that paid the ultimate price , Rest in Peace.

The message at the link was posted by a former squadron mate of mine (if you read it, I am one of those "weapons officers" he refers to). What he wrote is a bit on the long side, but I'm rather proud of the message that he conveys. One of the things I've always preached to my crews, and later my students, is that at the end of the day, regardless of how long the mission or how boring or pointless they sometimes seem (the whole "hours of boredom punctuated with moments of terror") our job was to make sure the good guys made it home and the bad guys didn't. It seems Andrew "got it". :)

Happy belated Vets day guys n gals, I know I appreciate everything that these people put on the line for their country, noble is an understatement. Im not in the military...but one of my closest friends is, well was, hes national guard now to pay for his schoolin, but that boy did 7 years in Iraq and AFG as a US army sniper. the stories, pictures, and videos he has shown me are incredible. I cant even relay the amount of respect I have for this kid...In my eyes, he can do anything...true life hero. I feel like there are quite a few heroes around here...much much respect ladies and gents.

Hope everyone had a great day. anyone get some range time in?? or just some good ol' R&R? (non active folks)
