I didn't forget it but I'm late getting this up.

I want to wish every vet and everybody in active military a happy Veteran's Day, including myself. I'm very pleased and proud to be a member of this community although I never did anything but get stuff for the real sailors to work with. But my old combat vet pals tell me that if they don't get ammo delivered they get killed and we lose the war so supply folks are very important people. Makes me feel better.

I'm very pleased and happy to be an American and proud that I'm a vet and if anybody doesn't like that I have a nice present for them -- and it AIN'T a kagas katne.

There is something very, very special about men who are willing to put their life on the line for home and country.
 
I completely agree with all that Uncle Bill said, and I add my thanks to my dad who served in combat in Korea. :)
 
Thanks to all who serve and have served. My life is as it is in no small part because of your service and sacrifice. I salute you.
 
A Happy Veteran's Day to all and thanks to them for making our country and world a better place to live in. I'd like to add special thanks to my Great Grandfather who fought in both World Wars as well. Although I cannot follow in his footsteps, the next best thing I can do is to remember what veterans did for us and honor their memory.
