Happy with the 277

:thumbup: ...Gotta admit...since I got that 277 Alpha a few weeks ago I'm truly impressed. That knife is so solid and tight that it's hard to believe. The only other linerlock I ever had was an old 110 linerlock that sits somewhere on the bottom of a pristine lake in northern Wisconsin. I just didn't think they would be as solid as that 110. The 277 is as solid as the 110 and for sure...it's a heckof a lot sharper. Just wanted to thank you guys for talking that knife up in the forum. I love it. I also just picked up a "Last Production" etched 277 for $43 bucks...NIB...Couldn't pass it up. Great knife...:thumbup:
 
What a great value, 43 bucks for that knife - rosewood handles, premium stainless, made in the USA, etched...

Yep DarrylS...that is a good knife. I have a 279 Woody...think they're only in rubber now. It's got the 4xx whatever steel (don't recall). Not as good as yours but I really like that knife and feel bad I don't use it that much. You've seen the pic on my website.

Ya know, your post has convinced me to send it in to the Mother Ship to get tightened up. That's two cool :cool: things ya did for a Goose today.

You played with the horizontal carry sheath yet? Its like it isn't even there when getting in and out of the car or truck.. Rubber grips for the 277 are showing up pretty cheep on ebay also.
