Thanks Herbert…it was fun meeting you in Idaho!! That doesn't look like you in the photograph on the couch in Buck's lobby.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :)

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Buckaroos, especially Plumber Dave, today, and may your turkey be sliced with a Buck knife. And be safe if you are on the roads today!!

OP in Chuck Buck's office chair. Who knew of the German management of Buck Knives? A real pleasure to meet you in Post Falls, Idaho. Did you really sell your shoes in order to buy more knives while you were there (my kind of enthusiast!)? :)

I hope confitently that you'll have more quality and more quantity than I had this evening. We had vegetarian punpkin soup. Think about me when you imbibe your turkeys and the fine nom noms around. Sometimes I wish to be there :( :(

Well, Oregon, it is true, I brougt a pair of boots with me to the Buck flee market. But I gave them to Joe H as a gift. He never saw Buck Boots and I thougt they would fit into his Buck collection very well.
By the way: it was a good feeling to sit in Chucks arm chair. :)

Another look at it. Your know, there were so many knives in Chuck's office, a ton of knives and all extremely fine, and all three of us sat at the desk, I didn't notice the letter opener until this thread.

Chuck Buck's office and the cutlery there provided stimulation for the already over-stimulated. Imagine that you had a large sum of money plus credit cards plus your lovely wife's blessings and Buck was working overtime to dish out new and unique cutlery just built for you and yours at bargain prices. Nah, forget that. It is unimaginable. It did happen, neverthe less.
