This is my first canister billet. J Neilson came up with the idea and helped (a Lot) in setting it up. Then I forged it and pressed it at the NECKA hammer in at Indian Georges.
I am looking for advice as to what to do with it next. I am thinking of an "acordian cut", but have never done one. Saw a picture on Don Fogg's site, but am lacking in detailed instructions. Any suggestions, advice, etc would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a bunch,
Ed

Good looking element. What I do with my mosaic elements is forge them down to 3/4 square, cut them into 9 pieces about 3" long, bundle them together, forge weld and draw it down to 3/4" square and do it again. Then forge down to about 1" sq and accordion cut to open it up. I will have 81 images on the end of the bar. If you want less you can 9 bar then 4 bar.
You could also cut 3/8" slices, butt weld them together and weld on a twisted edge. Hope this helps, its a start anyway. :D
