Hapstone R2 clamps?

Wondering what folks are using for low angle sharpening. Tried to do one of my petty knives to 12° and the stone hit at various places. I have a standard R2 with universal clamps. Whole milled Fillet Clamps? V8 magnetic table? Or just keep fiddling with the current setup. Appreciate any thoughts/insight. Thanks.

I use the small whole milled clamps for my smaller knives, works very well https://www.hapstone-usa.com/collections/clamps/products/small-side-clamps-for-hapstone-r2-rs-pair I have done 15° on knives that were very close to the clamp but 12 should be fine as long as the blade is a tad farther from the camp itself.

The magnetic table would probably be quite versatile as well but I am waiting on mine to arrive before testing it. You should be able to get far lower angles using it than you can with clamps.

Thanks. Not so sure about the magnetic table. Kinda brings me back to edgepro. Would really prefer clamps, but if it's the best option...
