Hi,
Here in France I am looking for a new sharpener.
For years I have a Lansky set I bought in Fairbanks.
I gave it to my son so I need a new one.
I have kitchen knives, a set of leatherman, some outdoor and EDC knives.
I also have a folding Morta

And some Damas from Joris

So, what are your advice between the two, I don’t see reviews about Kazak M10 on this forum or any comparaison between both of them.

Many thanks for your help.

I can't speak for the Kazak M10 but the Hapstone R2 will do anything that you might need it for.

I can't speak for the Kazak either, no experience, but I recently bought the Hapstone and had a couple questions that were answered promptly and clearly. Good customer service from Hapstone so I'm mentioning it here.

I am not familiar with the Kazak M10, but I have the Kazak 100. If you get the Hapstone R2 with the Rail Height Adjuster, that's pretty much comparable to the Kazak 100, except that the Kazak 100 is quite a lot bigger and heavier and will handle a machete with an 18-inch blade just fine. The Hapstone R2 without the Rail Height Adjuster is big step down in convenience, but it will still get your knives sharp. If you want to sharpen very small blades, get the Hapstone R2 plus the V8 magnetic table. The Kazak 100 and these various Hapstone configurations are all excellent machines.
