I currently have a wicked edge sharpener but am looking at getting a hapstone. Would you recommend the R2 or the RS?

Thanks

I do not believe there is any sharpener better than the Wicked edge.

It depends on what you want to sharpen and the amount of space you have.

If you won't sharpen anything over 8" or ~1/4" thick and need something small or that can be taken apart for storage then the RS is what you want.

If you have a good amount of room, will sharpen longer or thicker items, just don't like how the abrasive arm slides over the guide rod on the RS, or just want the more capable system then go with the R2. I personally love mine. If you have smaller knives to sharpen I would suggest a pair of the "Small Whole milled straight clamps" as they are better for blades that aren't very tall.
