Little sad for me this year at Blade. My son Tyler will not be coming with me. Been every year with the exception of 2007. He moved in with his girlfriend a couple months ago and there is a good chance there will be a wedding before the end of the year. Big life changes in this house for us this year. Still getting used to the empty nest. Maybe he will head back next year.
Photo from 2006 and one from 2016.

I am coming but he is to caught up in life to make it this year.

Sounds like a Great opportunity to get him a Wedding gift from a tradition that he can't make it to...

Enjoy the trip enough for the both of you.

They grow up so fast, don't they?

resingirl went once, back in 2006 as well. Pretty sure she has no interest now.

They sure do!
Believe it or not I just saw that pic looking through old Blade Show pics on Busse FB page.

2006... He's got a full 2yr head start on me before I went INFI-sane.

Bet if you showed him a VIP Pass and tickets to the show, he'd figure out a way to make it happen.;)

If he doesn't go, he's showing waaay too much maturity and responsibility, you might as well let the little gal take him away.:D

Congrat's on raising a good'un and I hope his path in life is a rewarding one. If the pictures tell an honest tale, I'm sure he'll figure out a way to make it to Atlanta with you again.

PS: That's one of the coolest pics of Jerry I've ever seen!

I do think he is on a good path. I think once the new of the relationship wears off he will be going back. I got to wrap my head around the possibility of taking a grandchild along in a few years.

Ah. I never thought I'd love anything as much as I love my wife and children. I'm sorry to hear that your son won't be making it this year. I've still got time to convince my little ones, 2 1/2 years and 10 months, that sharp things are awesome. They're half me, so that shouldn't be too hard.

"...And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, little boy blue and the man in the moon..."

I know your pain. Heck, my family knows it. None of us made it the year before last, and only I made it last year due to moving and resettling.

This year we will all be back and it's the main thing the kids are talking bout now.

I can't wait to see everyone. :)
