On-line last night I came across Hard Hat knives which I've not heard of before. Amongst a load of stuff I'm not interested in they offered some nice looking traditional folders, some of which are 100% US made, with engrave & etch options . We all know how deceptive web sites can be so I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. David.

Looks to me like they sell a lot of Buck, Schrade, Victorinox, and Maglite products at prices that aren't exactly what I would call a bargain.

Well that's the "power" of the internet. Anyone can appear to be anything. I reckon that if they were all they claimed we'd all know them a lot better. Thanks for your input. David

Well the sales@ email address on the hardhatusa web site failed and there's no phone number or even an address I could find. Google threw up a sales promotion company whose web site is the hardhatusa one with their own banner set above it. I've emailed them and await a response. Been waiting 3 days so far. If I get anything at all I'll post it here. David.

Here's the response to my email inquiry. Joy of Ad Sales is the marketing company which hosts the Hard Hat site. Very informative. NOT. Once again the BF crew look to be right on the button.

Subject: Hard Hat USA information please

I’m a beginner collecting traditional folding knives and found the hardhatusa web site a couple of days ago. The only contact link (sales@) doesn’t work so I wonder if you can help me with answers to my questions.

Does the company manufacture the USA made HH knives themselves or are they made under contract by another manufacturer?
Are they interested in single item orders?

Best regards

David
