One year ago, on January 15, 2011, I stumbled upon the Busse Sub-forum for the first time. Had no idea what a Busse was, and did not own any fixed blades; just had a folder collection. The number of acronyms had me scratching my head and I thought that 'nmfbm' was just a typo....

I joined BF because of Busse and the HOG community, and soon after purchased my first knife off the exchange; a wardog HACK from dericdesmond, which I still love.

I think the Alaska Ganza was my first Ganza, but I can't remember for sure. Since then, I have participated in every Ganza here on BF.

I've also met a lot of good guys and a few good lookin gals (amy, lexi, pokey,:cool:)* and I'm glad I became a member of the Busse 'family.' You Hogs are some of the coolest and most genuine people I've ever met!!!

I look forward to spending many more years on the Busse Sub-forum, and many more dollars on busse knives. I'm proud to call myself a HOG now, and I'd like to thank you HOGS for all the info and advice, photos, laughs, knowledge, and enjoyment I have had here on the Busse SF. I hope to finally meet some of you all in person at blade 2012 this June, and thanks again for all the good advice and entertainment!!!

Congrats on your wallet surviving the first year. Hope you can make it to Blade to see just how amazing all of these Hogs really are.

And how much have you spent? Lol I wouldn't answer that one either...it might make me cry.
