Hey Guys

I'm trying to find what I believe is a discontinued Seiko watch.
A buddy of mine had one when I was on active duty (86-90) and I always admired it. It was a Seiko dive watch with a rubber band and an orange face. It also had an LED display right above the 6 on the bottom of the face. Any help with a model number, whether or not it's still made, or where I could track one down would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help

Except mine has a white face.It is a pretty cool watch.I havent been able to find one like it.It says DX near the bottom of the face.Maybe that will help.

I just sent your message to someone I know who received a watch you described just this Christmas. I know he did a lot of research on a particular orange faced Seiko and it was hard to find. He may have some resources for you.

Hey SN. I wanted one of these myself and ended up searching everwhere for them The Good News is that they ARE still made, BUT only in a Titanium case (not the sturdy Stainless Steel that the older ones were made of). Here is a link to a pretty well know place that carries them http://www.skywatches.com.sg/seiko_diving_watch/SKX421J2.htm

I ended up not getting one so if you do decide to buy be sure and come back and tell us what you think.

Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it. I think they were made with a black face also as I seem to remember a couple of guys from 1/75 who had them.

Hillbillenigma, I'll check that link and see if they have it.

Broomhilda, if you have any pending information just re-post on the thread.

Thanks again guys. You all seem to always come through on good info about gear.
