iwas thinking about recoating some of my blades [most are carbon steel] and was wondering what coating to use . dura-coat looks good but ive not seen any rference to it being used on blades . ive used rustoleum textured over the years and it holds up okay but now im looking for something that will hold up better . so far the dura-coat sounds good but im open for suggestions. just wasnt something that will last and last .thanks in advance.

Kal-Gard (Gun-Kote) is used by Chris Reeve and Okuden (and maybe others) for blade coating. Very tough stuff. Use their K-phos primer under it for best results.
