Hard used Buck 124’s

I use mine very hard. It’s my EDC, and I use it throughout daily life. You can see a lot of in-use photos on this thread here:

Tons of great forum members post their Buck Knives in use on that thread. If you’ve got anything to add to it, please do! :)

I’ve got tons of backlogged photos (mainly showing 124 and 110 in use) to add to that thread. At some point in the near future I’ll get around to putting them up!

I was hoping you'd chime in. You have many wonderful pics of your 124.

It’s been about 2 years now that I haven’t had much of a chance to use my 124 out camping and such. Before that I got to use it several times a lot and it doesn’t show much wear. There’s a few scuff marks on the aluminum guard but otherwise it looks new. Bucks 420hc is very durable and tough so it should stay fairly clean for a long time. Same with the micarta handle slabs.

It looks like your 124 is being used for what it was made to do. The full tang design allows it do the hard tasks without fear of snapping like a rat tail/hidden tang. I do love the 124.
Buck’s heaviest duty fixed blade for certain!
