Hard wood source

[Gossman Knives]

I asked this in shoptalk but thought this would be another place to ask since some of you use them. I'm looking for a source to purchase hard wood, hickory, ash, etc. like what would be used for walking sticks or canes. It doesn't need to be finished off. I would need round stock, the size of sticks or canes. It's going to be used as a handle in a knife related project. Thanks

I have access to about any wood species you need. But it would be square stock not round. It is Kiln dried not stabilized. If you can use this let me know. I will see if my source has any round stock monday. Email me if this sounds like it will help.

Your local farmers Co-op should sell stockman’s canes and at one time they were available online even though I seem to have lost the address for the guys I used.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm still in the development stage with this project. I just needed some leads for when I'm ready for the wood.
