Hello gents, anyone had a chance to review these? I can't seem to find much on them? Went camping with my buddy Joe and saw his HHA LFT-tomahawk. Seemed like a great hawk but wanted to see if there was someone on here with more experience. He had it with him on deployment and swears by it. Just ordered myself an MFK03-G knife and looking forward to reviewing it for you guys. D2 construction on all of their pieces and teflon coating with G10 scales. I am considering going halves on a LFT hawk for a friend about to deploy. If anyone has any info on it please let me know!

Thanks in advance,
WereWolf

The knives look like strider knockoffs, and D2 steel is not a great choice for knives or hawks.
does the company have anything to do with Australia, or is it another Downunder knives style marketing ploy?

The company profile on their site is vague and does not mention country of origin, so they're asian imports.

Hey Rat, yeah I did not think of that. I have contacted them and will let you know the answer. Don't like that they don't post that. I found some stuff by reputable reviewers that swear the D2 does not hinder anything in the hawk. I am not so sure that this will go well, but Joe is letting me put his LFT hawk to the test. I have about an hour's worth of work lined up for it. Any requests for testing? Mostly doing chopping and camping tasks.

I have had good experience in knives in D2, however, so I am looking forward to the knife I ordered. I will - of course - be putting that to the test as well later on. As far as strider knockoffs I can see what you mean. But REALLY if you take any fixed blade knife with serrations and wrap the handle in paracord you will get similar look? I wouldn't jump to saying they are asian imports since we have no way of knowing, I guess I just am hoping for the best test wise so I don't feel dumb for taking the plunge. Hopefully I will get some kind of answer of production/ manufacture soon.
