Ah, Ka-bar.. You simply are the best, Aren't you. I'm a devoted user (abuser) of your knives. Recently added two Acheron's the BK11, BK14 and the Ka-bar 1117, now known as the ka-bar neck knife (really?). Each and every one of these little monsters has exceeded my expectations and delivered serious quality on a tight budget. Was seriously impressed with the edge on the BK14. I have thick calous on my hands and not many knives can get through it when I check the edge the "wrong" way (works better for me so bite on it, nay-sayers).. Anyway, a gentle slide down the edge ripped my thumb tip to the bone. Not exaggerating.. To the friggin' /BONE/. I was forced to break open my edc first-aid and super glue that mother shut. Ku-freakin'-dos. Seriously, boys.. keep up the good work. You've earned this ones respect and business.

Be glad it wasn't a BK4, you might have lost the thumb.
 
Hell yeah, they do! By the by, how's the BK4 handle? I hear it's quite a nice survival knife. Any thoughts on the BK9?
