As a knife nut / steel snob I always found the stainless steel utensils you find very unsatisfying. Given they do the job but I would love to see some in hardend martensitic steel just for kicks. Probably would patina but for me that would just add to the appeal. Would’t it be cool to dine with CPM-M4? Would be a heck of a sharp butter knife too. Anybody with me? Does that exist for purchase?
 
I just bought three pairs of titanium chop sticks, does that count? Certain steels can affect how food tastes...
 
spatula bought online was excellent .Steel type shown [X30 Cr13 ] ,hardness test mark visible . Excellent quality ,made in Taiwan . Surprise !
