Been going out with meetup groups to try different things
It rained pretty good in LA last week and 2+ inches were in the Silverado Canyon area
Rain is a big deal in So Cal :-)
perfect time to check out the waterfall.

There was the group leader, his friend and me so a light group of 3 which makes us faster,
I prefer minimalist shoes so I had my Merrell Bare Access trail but in this case they may not have been the best choice for my feet.
This was technically the most difficult hike I've been on as it was all boulder scrambling and a hundred stream crossings and really no trail, less so because of the rains
There was no staying dry.

Fun seasonal hike, hsc. You're in good hands with radek if you are interested in canyoneering. (Saw your BTN hike too).

Nice write-up and pics.

That is a typical deer skull:

ENSO is bringing lots of white precip (vs wet precip!) at the higher elevations if you're interested in winter mountaineering or backcountry skiing. After four dry winters, the bowls and boles will be booming. (there will even be some ice-climbing opportunities, BION.) Stay safe and have fun. (some snow rescues already...)

C ya out there
