Does anyone use hardness testing files and if so, are they worth the cost and where might I buy a set? Thanks!

L6,
I have used the hardness files for about a year now and find them to be very useful. They are not as accurate as the expensive machines but they work for me. I make wood carving knives and do my own hardning and tempering. I test each blade for hardness. I look for hardness between RC60 and RC65. That seems to be a good range for carving knives. On the hunting knife I look for RC55 to RC60.
