Hardness of Gayle Bradley?

Does anyone know what the hardness is of the Gayle Bradley? I reprofiled the edge to around 17 degrees per side on a DMT Diafold using the Fine grit, and had it stropped and everything after about 2 and a half hours. Reprofiling my Griptilian a week ago took 2 hours, and that has 154CM steel. I'm a bit confused now, I thought I would need Coarse or Extra Coarse stones to reprofile the Bradley. Any thoughts on this?

Diamonds are going to cut fast regardless of the steel. I'm surprised it took you that long.

yeah 2 hours seems a bit long. it should be 62-63 rc but someone from spyderco can better answer that

Well all I have is a Fine/Extra fine DMT Diafold with the Aligner clamp, and a leather strop with 1 micron diamond spray.

My 2 GBs came from the factory already at 17, I did the sharpie test with a Lansky. The 20 degree setting was starting to reprofile, but the 17 degree slot took the entire mark off the grind line.

Gayle Bradley tested them himself at 65 !

Oh ok, thanks.

I'm not sure if i reprofiled it to exactly 17, but I definitely made the edge steeper.
