Hardware (bolts) used by Tommythewho?

I am planning on taking a shot at making some wood scales for my BK16 and BK17. I have noticed that the scales many of you have from Tommythewho have bolts that have phillips heads on both sides.

I am wondering what they are? I am thinking they are chicago bolts. If anyone has some pictures and specs on them and where to get them, I would appreciate it. I like the look of them and would like to use something similar.

They have a bushing thats threaded in the middle and two bolts go into it. Kind of like the hardware for izula scales if youve wver seen them.

Thanks for the input. Does anyone happen to have some of his scales? And could post a picture?

I would also appreciate the size and where to get them if anyone knows.

the knifemaking web stores have lots of hardware like that, including hex-wrench ones (which I prefer, personally).

Google "knife making supplies" and look for something with "USA" in it. Then look in "handle materials"--"shields, corbys and other fasteners" Scroll down and you will find "chain ring bolts". This should do it for you.

Thank you very much.

BaldingEagle, I was able to find the site you referenced. I appreciate the input!

I will put in my order and get to work.
