Did you notice the mods. I took out the pointy hump on the spine and made one sweeping curve. Then I ground the guard down to the mikarta. And I brought the choil back toward the handle. Much better now.

Damn that choil though. No need on this knife.

Youre right on the choil, no need for it. Yours looks alot better w/o it.

Your Hairy Carry looks great, Andy. Way better than my mod. I was going for the screwdriver look.

"Hmmm. If I promise not to start making knives to compete, will you divulge the secret?"

horny; he did divulge. the name of the belt grinder is the KMG... i can understand it looking like an internet abbreviation of some kind...

nice mod there, looks better.

I'm sorry. I thought KMG was a household name. Its a knife grinder.

Hey, no problem. Even though I own a number of custom knives from various makers, I never looked into how you craftsmen actually make one. I'm sure there are lots of resources around this site to learn.

Nice mods. Many people can make a knife. A few can make a knife with nice lines.

Great work Andy, that's one of their only knives I've been really 'into'. Looks like a very formidable woods blade.

Dude etch that blade to take the logo off and slap some dual wood scales on it and you got a winner.

Thank you!! Thats a great compliment!

Bruche! Busse does a whole knife quench. Etching wouldn't do much. They had some sweet looking customs at Blade Show at $180 ish. I went for the $118 model.
