I haven't posted in awhile.
...BUT I was in town(Denver) today...looking in some of my favorite shops.
In the case was a Harley Davidson LE Buck 110...$59.95

. Of course, I ask to see it:thumbup:.
The blade looked unused, the sheath was a special Harley sheath, tooled, with flames and it had a special box with it. There were some numbers etched on the tang but it didn't have BUCK stamped anywhere. Not sure if the name Buck was even etched.
I must have been shaken
NOW, comes the kicker. The bolsters, scales and the back had been sanded down:barf: the rivets and rocker pin were flat:...you could see the grinding marks on the liners. The bolsters were smooth and polished and who ever did this dastardly deed replaced the medallion...but didn't polish out the scales, they were dull.
Can't for the life of me figure it out what was up with this knife
...those of you that have HD 110s please tell me that I did good passing on this and that is not the way they were suppose to be
