Bob just click on the link on the first posting, there are lots of pictures there..
I'm sorry but this was all that I welded up and I dont have much chain left and I think that I may need it myself, sorry if this sounds like I'm being selfish but I am not meaning to sound that way,but I may need it for someone else.....Bruce

:
Bruce those are the lovliest Harley Chain blades I have ever seen, bar none!!!!

Most "chain" blades have too much of a "split pattern" to me if that makes sense.

Im having a similar issue. The man is doing wonderful work at great prices. Ive got three now and two on the way. Oh and a few wishes after that. His knives also have a flavor that has changed my collecting habits. Im letting some stuff go to support my Beknives habit

OK so i have a primary chain from my old 64 harley...could you tell me in general terms how you go about forging it. do you just heat it up to welding temp cover it with flux and bang away, do you first try and make it flat round square, do you fold, twist it, if so how many times? inquiring minds would like to know

thanks

As a long time Harley rider and knife enthusiast, I gotta tell ya, that is neat! Nice job, cool concept.

RandyBruce.......You have Mail!!!! I didnt want to take up allot of space here explaining how I did the welding.....If anybody else would like to know how I did this let me know and I will email you a quick description on how I did it or I will post it here either way.....Bruce....
Maybe something for a new tutorial on my website,What do ya think ????

Thank you very much Bruce!!!!!!
i am thinking of giving it a try this summer. I just moved into a new house and in between the rains i am still setting up shop.

If you ever do it again it would be really neat if you take photos of the process

thanks once again
Randy

Loved the Harley blades… would like to know how to try the same. I have a small shop, just setting up… lots of enthusiasm, little experience. If you could offer any advice, I would be grateful indeed. Thank you…
