My friend Moon posted this over on the Custom forum but I figured I would post here also. The hammer is for doing wire inlay work. This was a Harley Davidson chain damascus billet that was welded up in a canister with 4600 powder. I drew the billet out and cut into 5 pieces and stacked and re-welded. I have a matching hammer head that I am making for myself. After seeing Joe Keeslers wire inlay demo at the Troy hammer in last year it got me excited to try and do some. Just have to handle mine. I traded Moon this hammer for a very nice beaver pelt that he trapped. -Burton
