Harley Davidson Osborne Folder?

Was browsing through my favorite online knife shop and came across some of these harley davidson osborne folders. S30V Aluminum/G10 handles for 90$. Seems like a decent deal. Anyone have one or any info? Pics would be great :). Thanks.

Nobody has this knife? Surprising since it seems like a great deal.

That's a great deal since it's basically the Benchmade 960 but with s30v rather than D2 and more writing on the blade. I gave a 960 as a gift. It's light, slim, fast, and locks up like a bank vault.
 
$90 is a great deal for those. When I was considering picking one up, I remember them going for $120-130ish.

When someone who's been signed up to BF.com for more than 3 months with no posts finally decides to break their silence to ask about removing the blade's branding, you know that logo looks hideous! :D

Fair enough. I don't have anything against HD, I just don't like any logos on my knives. I wish they all just put a tiny little etching at the base with model number and steel, like in the good ol' days. I guess it's like when kids buy T-shirts that have a giant brand name logo on them... if I'm gonna advertise for you, I wanna get paid!
 
I got one from that same site on the way right now. I am hoping it arrives today or tomorrow. I will post up again once I got it in hand.

I was amazed when I saw the price, s30v and a nice thin handle with an axis lock. One of the best knife deals I have seen online yet.
 
I’ve been looking to by a BM 960, but the logo…It’s just so blatant. I’m also not cool enough to wear anything with the name Harley on it. (I have nothing against Harleys , but if my friends saw me with this blade they’d make fun of me from here to my funeral--and probably afterwards.)
 
The Hardly Ableson logo definitely pooches it for me - the knife would probably have lousy ergos, leak oil all over my pocket, cut poorly around corners and make enough hellish racket when it opens to set off all the car alarms on the block. I'm surprised it doesn't come with a precious chrome studded and fringed black faux-leather sheath plastered with red HD logos, which would probably be the only thing holding the knife together after the first use. :p
 
I have the original 960, red with d2. Never wanted to abuse it,so I
picked the harley version at this price for a beater...serves its purpose,
BMW motorcycle owner;)
 
So I have had this one for a few about a week now. Awesome knife! I always thought the weird bumps on the handle looked like it would be uncomfortable, but they somehow fit into the hand just right. I LOVE that it gives me a full four finger grip, yet still weighs only 2.2 ounces. This thing is fast too. It opens and closes like lightning. The G-10 insert looks and feels great in hand, and even the weird ball bearings on the slabs give a nice little "button" to play with. The thin blade cuts like a lazer too!. This is my first experience with Benchmades S30V, but it hasn't needed sharpening yet, and it came out the box super sharp too. Very, very impressed with this one so far. :thumbup: :thumbup:
