Searched for sharpening and found lots of info but didnt spot anything on the hawkbill's. I bought my wife the stainless Harpy and she loves it. So I imagine the spyderco sharpener is the best to use on those serrations so Ill be picking that up but is there a special technique to strocking the hawkbills?

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

I have found the easiest way for me to be, breaking the edge of the blade into sections and working each section until it is sharp. When you are done, you will need to go back to the blend the sections together. It takes time, but it works.
