This is a UST racing SFO that's pretty rare. SC507 pattern, serial #007 with gold-filled etch and micarta handles with true scrimshaw work on both sides of the knife. Nice walnut presentation display. Scrimshaw on the knife and the laser etch on the box are the same. "OLDSMOBILE" etc on knife is really tiny but very readable. COA just calls it "Harry Gant Commemorative".
This knife is missing from the most-excellent UST SFO lists found here and I haven't been able to nail down how many of these were made. I do know they don't pop up very often online. Any ideas as to production numbers etc would be most appreciated.
The brass on this knife was pretty ugly when I got it but it's a mirror now. That's how I like 'em.
