Hi Knife Knuts,
Are any makers doing a no-frills zero grind folder in the traditional Hartsfield- like style? That would be a way-cool folder.
Thanks-Lycosa

Thanks for all the feed -back everyone. My intrest in knives started in 1977 with a purchase of a A.G. Russel Sting and that intrest has never left me. Have fun Knife Knuts but don't go over- board- It's easy to do.

Biogon-thanks. Is that a titanium handle? Would you buy a Hartsfield if you could? years back Phill told me he'd never do a folder. Wait till I get ahold of him. OUT.

Lycosa,

I actually have no idea -- purely by coincidence, I was browsing his site. I don't think he says what the handle slabs are.

Me, personally, I put Hartsfields in the same category as Pateks... While I could afford both, I'm not sure I could bring myself to use either for fear of damage... which, honestly, would make me stick to lesser examples.

I imagine the Hartsfield is an incredible knife.

It would be sweet if you did indeed get one.

Biogon,
That's ALOT of money for a folder but the wheels are turning. I'll let you know the outcome.

the handle slabs are milled from Stainless steel....so the only thing that will rust on the monster (if you don't take care of it) is the blade!
