I ordered my eldest son his first knife from the Pharmacy ("My First Victorinox" with saw blade) and added this knife to the cart on a whim. It arrived today. The machining is good and crisp. The sheath is very secure and well designed, if a little larger than necessary. The provided carabiner is neat but IMO too large. It is about 1/2 the size and 1/2 the weight of the knife and sheath. I've taken it off and will use it elsewhere.
My only complaint is a big one, though. This knife came dull. Much duller than any other knife I've ever seen from Buck or any other quality maker. The grind lines are much more even than those on my Idaho 303, but the edge is not nearly as sharp. It would not shave hair and barely cut copier paper.
I'll fix it on the Sharpmaker (which I probably would have done anyway) but I really hope this is the exception rather than the rule. What is your experience?
