Has any one bought a seal team elite yet? if not why?

Iv'e been a sog fan for awhile,I own 3 sog fixed blades I like them alot and I want another fixed blade I'm looking at the seal team elite has any one bought one yet? if not why not? or should I consider something els? any input would be appreciated.
 
Well, I haven't got one yet.
For some reason I'm just not really drawn by it.
I like the Seal 2000 much better.
 
Between paying for car repairs and needing to buy a new computer I'm broke. No money left for knives. . . Yet. The Seal Team Elite wasn't avaliable at my local dealers last time I checked so I have not played with it yet. After I get that chance I can deside if I want one or not.

I also realy like the seal 2000 I had one till just last weak.I gave it to a guy on leave, He took it back with him to Iraq. so Im thinking of replacing it with the seal team elite, the handle reminds me of my seal pup elite I love the way that handle feels! also it has an extended tang something I wished the seal 2000 had,and cryogenic heat treated makes it stronger and the edge last 2 to 4 times longer. savson swords & knives have it for $96.00. I think I just sold myself. any imput would be appreciated thanks.

Don't buy from Savson Swords and Knives. Their customer service has been very inconsistent. I ordered a knive from them and after I paid them, they never answered any of my over a dozen emails from 2 different accounts (road runner and yahoo) and I never got my knife. I finally had to do a chargeback after a month of no response and no knife. Spend a little more from a more reputable dealer because the gamble of saving just a few dollars is just not worth it. Do a search in the good, the bad and the ugly forum and you will see what I mean.

I'm not sure what it is, but there's something about the Sog Seal Team Elite that ... turns me off.

Maybe I have just been lucky, but I have been buying from Savson for a couple of years with fast shipping and no problems.

Maybe it's the "spine rasp"? :D

I havn't seen a Seal Team Elite in nature yet. From the pictures it looks interesting to me. In my opinion it could do without the spine rasp though, at least at the false edge.

Yeah, I sent them 2 emails wanting to return my Team Leader. No response. Now they will say I am outside the return window or I don't have the acking slip or something. If I don't hear back-never again! Anyone want to buy a Team Leader?
