just wondering if anybody has done a skeletool knife review and may you send me the link if you have?

I did a search on the multitool forum and there don't seem to be any recent Skeletool reviews, just comments in passing on other discussions.

I got a Skeletool CX a while ago and carry it a lot. With warm weather, I'll probably go back to carrying it every day again.

Many years ago, I always had a Swiss Army Knife on me, and at work, a small Vise-Grip and a screwdriver with straight and Phillips heads. Then the original Leatherman came out. A revelation! :)

I stopped carrying SAKs for years, and carried multitools instead, and I left the pliers and screwdrivers home, too.

But multitools can be heavy, and while I ended up with the Supertool on the job, it was a lot of weight for casual carry, and I didn't need all the tools.

Enter the Skeletool: my knife, pliers, and drivers together again, in a full-sized but light-weight package. I am very pleased with it. The only problem I had was in over-estimating the pocket clip -- I bent it out. No big deal, I removed it, bent it back, and it seems to work just fine now. But I will be careful about not snagging it again!

I will later...I have a non-CX version but my buddy does and I am not certain what he has used it for entirely but the S30V blade is torn up!!! He beats on it! I will give you a review of it later. I use it along with my Wave a ton!!!!!!!!

The skeletool is small and limited but that isnt it's limitation that is its design. it is not meant to be a wave or SwissTool Spirit. The Pliers is smaller, blade shorter and tools limited. But it does not require a sheath to carry, it can be clipped on or attached via the carabiner which doubles as a bottle opener. I like the screw driver for if you like you can add the 42-bit kit and do tons with it...but then you need to lug around that crap...I think defeating that tools benefits. It feels good in the hand and does a very good job with what tools it has. It is limited to smaller jobs. I use mine for fishing. Because of the carrying option...clip, carabiner, or even a belt sheath. It does what I need it to do. For everyday use I have a wave with the 42-bit kits that fits into the same waves nylon sheath...this is very nice!! I really like both tools but they have their places and capabilities. But to be honest I like some of the other LM better such as the Juice S2...it does more and is smaller. But if you need a small tool that requires more blade first access the skeletool is the one! I found the Juice S2 to be awesome for fishing!! Make a nice neck lanyard and it travels well...a little heavier, I considered the squirt PS4 but the pliers is far to short for fish hook retrieval but makes a good key chain everyday carry tool.
